Summer Bike Sessions

photoTriathletes have a reputation that we are aiming to change! You could save yourself valuable time on the bike and become a safer cyclist by practicing skills.  There will be a race theme each week for example 3km time-trial, 1-lap sprint or 20km team transition relay race!  We will look at skills such as balance, cornering, braking, descending and dead turns with the aim to get you completing the laps faster each time.  We will also do drills to increase your confidence of cycling in group situations.

After all the coaching you should be able to ride the 1km loop pretty fast – but who will hold the track record?

Bike sessions will be on Wednesday evenings 6.30pm – 7.30pm at Highland Cycle Ability Centre – a purpose built 1km tarmac loop. Suitable for all bike types but if you ride with cleats please also bring a pair of trainers.

You must wear a helmet at all times while mounted which fits and is secured – check the British Triathlon Rules for the standard required. It is also your responsibility to ensure your bike is roadworthy and well maintained.

Please park just outside the Watermilland ride down the dirt track to the circuit.
